Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies and compliance matters.
- Research and analyze tax issues and communicate recommendations to clients and firm leadership.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and trusted advice.
- Assist with tax projections, estimated tax calculations, and year-end planning.
- Support IRS and state tax notice resolution efforts.
- Collaborate with team members on complex tax engagements and special projects.
- Stay current on changing tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- CPA license a plus but not required.
- 2+ years of public accounting tax experience preferred.
- Experience in preparing individual and business tax returns.
- Knowledge of trust and estate taxation is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and client service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines during busy season.
