Talis Group’s client is a leading engineering and manufacturing company in Louisville, KY. They are seeking an experienced Recruiter (Sourcing Specialist) to join their team on a long-term temporary basis (approximately 6 months.) This is a high-volume, fast-paced recruiting environment supporting critical hiring needs across engineering, project management, and technical functions.

This role is heavily focused on candidate sourcing and initial screening and will support multiple hiring managers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy recruiting environment and can quickly identify and engage top talent.
This is a full-time position, with a pay range of $30-$35 per hour.
Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, onsite, no travel.
Highlighted Duties:
- Source qualified candidates for a variety of roles: Project Engineers, Technical Leads, Project Managers, Logistic Professionals, and Technical/Engineering Sales roles.
- Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and potential fit.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers for next steps.
- Partner with multiple hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring priorities.
- Maintain a strong, active pipeline of candidates across multiple requisitions.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other sourcing tools to identify talent.
- Track candidate activity and maintain accurate recruiting records.
Highlighted Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume requisition load (15-20 roles simultaneously)
- Strong sourcing skills and ability to identify passive candidates.
- Experience recruiting for engineering and project-based roles strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
