Talis Group’s client, a premier automotive manufacturer, is seeking a Production Manager to join its successful and long-standing team. This role will oversee production and assembly operations to meet goals, quality standards and on-time delivery. HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES:
- Lead and oversee manufacturing and production operations, driving performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Manage departmental resources, staffing, equipment, and capital needs to support business objectives.
- Ensure successful execution of key projects, meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements.
- Champion APQP, 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
- Partner with Quality to resolve manufacturing and customer issues through effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize operational performance.
- Serve as the primary manufacturing representative in customer interactions, audits, and business reviews.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and decision-making support to manufacturing teams to achieve operational excellence.
HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in engineering or similar (or equivalent experience.)
- 5 years’ manufacturing supervisory experience
- Lean manufacturing experience a must
- At least 3 years in automotive manufacturing.
- Strong computer skills: Excel, MS Office, etc.
