Talis Group’s company client is a growing, well-established law firm in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. This firm is seeking an Office Assistant to join it’s close-knit legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional, recent Paralegal graduate, or someone with prior office experience who is eager to learn the legal field & grow into a future Paralegal role.

This full-time, direct hire position offers $17-$18 per hour ($35k-$37k annually), comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a respected law firm. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, working onsite.

The firm operates in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential. Every team member plays an important role in the firm’s success, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy & contributing to a collaborative office.

Highlighted Duties:

Provide clerical & administrative support to attorneys and staff.
Make copies, scan documents, and prepare legal correspondence and forms.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including use of postage machine.
Perform electronic court filings (e-filing) as needed.
Assist with document organization, file maintenance, and office projects.
Support large-scale mailing projects, including copying, assembling, stuffing envelopes, and mailings.
Assist with general office duties to ensure efficient daily operations.

Highlighted Requirements:

Prior office, clerical, administrative, or legal support experience highly preferred.
Recent Paralegal graduates encouraged to apply.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word is required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment & manage repetitive tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Must be reliable and able to work onsite Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm.
