Talis Group’s company client, a Louisville, KY law firm is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Runner/ Office Assistant to join their busy law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys providing exceptional customer service, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. You'll play a vital role in supporting attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, clients, and visitors while ensuring the office remains organized and welcoming.

This position is on site, full time, Monday -Friday 8am-5pm with a full benefits package. Pay is $17/hr.-$19/hr.

Highlighted Responsibilities:

Receptionist duties such as; welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Prepare conference rooms for meetings, including scheduling rooms, serving beverages, making coffee, stocking water, and tidying rooms after use. Answer and direct incoming phone calls and provide reception coverage during breaks and lunch periods.
Assist attorneys, legal assistants, and paralegals with a variety of administrative projects, such as: delivering legal documents to court houses, open and organize new case files, including printing and assembling client materials. Close and archive case files. Perform electronic court filings (e-filing).
Schedule depositions and coordinate with court reporters and videographers.
Organize medical records.
Order and maintain office supplies.

Highlighted Requirements:

Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work collaboratively
Ability to follow directions
Ability to lift and carry boxes or packages weighing up to 35 pounds.
Must have a reliable car for running duties such as delivering documents to court houses.
