As growth continues at an impressive pace, they are seeking a Controller to lead the accounting and finance function, establish scalable processes, and serve as a trusted business partner to the President.

As the senior financial leader, you'll be responsible for both the day-to-day accounting operations and the strategic financial management of the business.
- Lead all accounting and finance activities for the organization.
- Partner with the President to provide financial insights and strategic guidance.
- Develop financial reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and business analytics.
- Support growth initiatives through forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and cash management.
- Manage project accounting and job cost reporting.
- Monitor and analyze Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules.
- Oversee percentage-of-completion accounting and project profitability analysis.
- Support and review AIA billing processes and contract accounting.
- Collaborate with operations and project teams to improve project financial performance.
- Build and develop accounting processes that can scale with company growth.
- Evaluate workflows and implement efficiencies and controls.
- Serve as the financial lead for an upcoming ERP implementation.
- Help recruit, develop, and mentor future accounting team members.
Highlighted Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager
- Strong background in construction accounting
