Talis Group’s client is a local, well-established and growing real estate development firm known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. They are searching for an On-Site Construction Superintendent to be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring safety, quality and timely completion of site work for new, Class A multi-family new construction projects. With several projects lined up, this is expected to be a long-term position.
Salary range: $115 – $160 K + project completion bonus and full benefits package.
HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES:
- Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities, including sitework, framing, interior build-out, and finishing work.
- Coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety protocols, and ensure the building is constructed to code, on schedule, and within budget
- Supervise the labor force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials, inspecting work, and overseeing quality control.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing to budgets, and monitoring progress.
- Report on-site activities and resolve site-level challenges.
HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience in real estate or civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of multi-family construction.
- Ability to manage teams and ensure project timelines and quality benchmarks are met.
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with Procore Construction Management Software is preferable
- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR) preferred.
