Talis Group’s company client is a well-established law firm in Floyds Knobs, Indiana specializing in real-estate matters, including liens, foreclosures, and commercial collections. This firm is seeking a Billing Clerk to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, spreadsheets, and detailed financial information in a professional office setting.
This is a full-time, direct hire role with an hourly pay of $20-$22/hour ($42k-$46k) plus full benefits package & paid time off. The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, onsite.

Highlighted Duties:
- Prepare and process payoff statements for clients.
- Assist with collections-related processes, including payoff coordination and follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Calculate balances, fees, and interest accurately.
- Work with county clerks and officials nationwide to confirm payment of redeemed liens and claims.
- Communicate with clients and external contacts via phone and email.
- Maintain and update billing records and spreadsheets.
- Assist with general administrative and billing-related tasks.
Highlighted Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred but not required.
- Prior billing or accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) required.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with Excel spreadsheets and calculations.
- Ability to communicate professionally with both the public and government offices.
- Must be reliable and able to work onsite Monday-Friday.
